I'm tempted to rule out the "Buck was fouled" game in the 1974 ACCT (thinking many will pick it), but there are no restrictions to the thread.
I don't remember detesting Duke until the close of that game. The SW conference refs, who were brought in solely to combat the perceived bias toward the Carolina schools, swallowed their whistles and did not call the obvious foul on Kenny Dennard. After the game, that Duke player said he thought it was a "good no-call" (wink, wink). Not sure I slept at all that night, such was my anger.
Kenny Dennard contracted cancer in mid-life, and I was hard-pressed to hope he would survive. But I finally got over that hurdle - not even a miserable Dookie should die that way.
