COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland Basketball Radio Show is set to make its 2023-24 season debut on Monday, Oct. 30 at 7 PM at Ledo Pizza in College Park. The show, hosted by legendary Voice of the Terps Johnny Holliday will have a new format this year featuring women's basketball head coach
Brenda Frese and men's basketball head coach
Kevin Willard headlining different shows throughout the season. The women's season will officially open on Nov. 6 against Harvard in the XFINITY Center, while the men will host Mount St. Mary's on Nov. 7.
The weekly radio show will broadcast all 14 episodes from Ledo Pizza this year. Each show will look ahead to upcoming games, break down those from the week prior, and feature current and former player guests. Several assistant coaches will also take turns hosting the show alongside Holliday to give fans insight into their personality and background.
All shows will occur on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m.with the exception of Tuesday, Nov. 14, and will air on 105.7 FM The Fan in Baltimore and The Team 980 in Washington, D.C. They will also be available live on the One Maryland App and on-demand through the Hear The Turtle Podcast.
