We're about 15 minutes from tipoff between the Terps and Richmond Spiders in Nassau in the first round of the Baha Mar Bahamas Championship. Maryland opened as a 1-point favorite but the line will close with Richmond as a 1.5-point favorite. Terps need to shoot better and will have to play better defense, particularly on Grant Golden and Tyler Burton, who's averaging 20 ppg and shooting almost 60% from three so far this season.
