According to Adam Zagoria, who is at the Big Strick Classic practice in NYC, Josh Jackson will visit Maryland a little later this month.

As I've been saying for a while now, Maryland has some real traction in this recruitment and is likely going to be a major player according to multiple people I've talked to.

On a side note, Nike is really on the defensive right now with regards to the grassroots hoops scene. Jackson plans to visit Maryland ahead of the Under Armour Elite 24, which is also in NYC. It's a huge event that has drawn all of the top players and numerous NBA scouts over the past few years. It seems that in order to keep their top players away from this event this year, Nike is having some sort of event in the Bahamas to entice kids that play for Nike programs not to play in the Elite 24. Trust me when I tell you, the shoe war is real and I have seen the effects first hand as a publisher with Rivals. Check the link below for more on the UA-nike war.
