The latest with Baltimore native and top-25 prospect Tyler Jackson, who helped Team Thrill dominate this past weekend on the UA circuit. Terps are in a solid spot here, helped out by the fact that they were able to land Queen. Jackson is a combo capable of playing both on and off the ball and is just a bucket getter. Maryland obviously heavily involved with his backcourt mate, Chance Mallory, as well. Landing one of these two in the next cycle would be huge and I'd say they have a very good shot at that happening.
Also worth mentioning here Jordan Scott of Virginia Elite, who they beat the other day. I'm hearing Scott is a done deal now to Michigan St. and will likely announce sooner than later. Izzo was in town, not only to visit him at school recently, but had dinner at Grandma's house. This should mean Sparty likely backs off of Cam Ward, while the Terps and G'town will now be going after Ward that much harder.
But Jackson is a big-time talent and big-time scorer and would be a huge get because you can pair him with just about anyone. More at the link below.
