Hearing today that both Pete Lembo and Mike London are major targets for the UDel job that opened up a little over a month ago following the firing of fourth-year head coach Dave Brock.

Brock had the dubious task of following in the footsteps of KC Keeler, who won the FCS championship in 2003 and led the Blue Hens to two other title games. Keeler, who played at UDel, was actually fired in 2012.

Before Keeler, UDel was coached by the legendary Tubby Raymond who also won a national title, coached in several others and led the program for 35 years. To give you guys an idea of how big of an FCS job Delaware is, most of the other top programs when I went there are all now FBS schools. Youngstown St. is pretty much the only other longtime big-time FCS program still in the FCS.

Lembo has a ton of FCS experience having coached at Elon and Lehigh while London won an FCS title at Richmond. But in talking to a good Delaware source today, sounds like the school is very high on both.
