After suffering a devastating knee injury at Syracuse as a sophomore in 2014 and missing all of 2015, it would have been easy for fifth-year senior to pack it up and call it a day. But Isaacs persevered, the former tight end switched positions this offseason and had a big game on Saturday, recording 3 tackles and 1.5 sacks as a defensive end. With Aniebonam likely done for the year, it could open the door for more playing time down the road for Isaacs.
