Says coming out of the game, looking at the tape, nothing really changed as it did from Saturday afternoon. Says they still think it's about trusting your teammates, doing what you are supposed to do and going from there. Says they did things that didn't look anything like what they were doing throughout camp. But they are looking forward to getting back on the field today.

On Isaiah Davis, he says he's suspended for the Minnesota game. He's a special teams starter but he wanted to make a point. He's a great young man, we love him, but he needs to learn from this and needs to be accountable.

Durkin also says that senior RB Trey Edmunds will have foot surgery and miss several weeks. Says his fracture is one that usually builds up over time. Says he felt it in practice yesterday and they decided to go ahead and x-ray it and they discovered the fracture.

Says he spent some time with Isaiah Davis discussing what he did and he understands what he did was wrong. But they will use it as a good teaching moment for the team.

On the Minnesota QB being out, says he just learned about it 15 minutes ago so no changes to the game plan at this point. Unfortunately it's part of the game and you have to man up and the next guy has to step up. But what they do is really good w/ their scheme so we are going to prepare the same way.

Says the biggest thing they need to takeaway from Saturday is trust. Team just got all out of whack and they need to learn from it as a young team and young program. Says they didn't give the same effort level against PSU and that's something they need to work on.

On Minnesota, says they have two really good backs and they run a pistol scheme on offensive and do a good job of play action and getting vertical down field. They struggled last week but throughout the season, they have been productive.

Says the team had a great practice last night and the team responded how you'd hope they would.

Says Perry Hills will remain day-to-day throughout the week. Says again, doesn't know if there's a tougher guy in college football. He was angry and wanted to get back into the game Saturday but Durkin made the call Perry wasn't equipped to finish the game.

Says Perry running isn't going to change, it's part of the offense. But there are things he can do to help himself like sliding and moving out of the pocket, but we also have to do a better job in protection.

Says they have to do a better job in protection, one time its a lineman, another time its the QB, another time its a wideout, so we need to get better at that. Says when you are running so effectively, you keep going back to it and that plays a part in not being as ready in the pass game. But just need to do a better job all around in the pass game.

Says they knew McSorley was a good runner going into PSU, but for whatever reason they didn't do a good job of stopping him.
