Wow, Daishan Nix, the five-star PG from Alaska, playing in Las Vegas that the Terps recruited heavily and took an official visit here, just announced he's signing with the G League. He was the top-rated commit in UCLA's class for next season and was almost certainly going to be a star. This G League initiative really making it tough to recruit certain kids now. You put so much time and energy into a kid, land him and now you have to worry if he starts seeing dollar signs and leaves you hanging without much time at all to find a replacement. Throw in the free agency coming and the offseasons are going to be wild.
