I know folks were asking about possible bowl destination as soon as the Terps beat Rutgers, but truth is, last weekend I wasn't hearing any REAL news as far as where Maryland might land. Mostly just the same speculation you guys were already posting.
The three bowls most mentioned in projections have been Heart of Dallas, Pinstripe and Quick Lane in Detroit. From what I can gather, Heart of Dallas appears to be out and isn't a real option for the Terps. That leaves Pinstripe and Quick Lane.
Just based on talking to some folks, I think Pinstripe is by far the most coveted by Maryland as the Terps are a huge draw in NYC. Don't have to look back any further than last weekend when pretty much every seat filled at Barclays had a Terps fan in it. With that said, as of now, it sounds like Detroit is the most likely landing spot. But we should officially know where they are headed sometime tomorrow.
