Davidson Game thoughts…….

So other than the arena being hot as hell and pretty smoky from the grill on the concourse, Asheville has been pretty nice and the game atmosphere was pleasant enough. As for the game now that I’ve seen the team/players in person, a few thoughts.

1) the entire team looked like lethargic until the final four minutes.
2) Reese is soft, soft, and soft on the boards. If he had made half of his four footers we would have won.
3) Scott was a non entity and he looked like a fish out of water. The Terps need a sharp shooter in the offense, not a 6’8” guy who isn’t a top level scorer and who didn’t rebound during the game.
4) Davidson wanted to win from tipoff until the final seconds. The Terps didn’t.
5) Willard seemed extremely reserved for a head coach. That’s ok, but what isn’t ok is not covering the Davidson player who was torching us all night with 12 seconds to play. Bone headed 101 mistake coach. Make anyone else take the shot. Btw….the kid is a Freshman!!!
6) lastly, How can we recruit Bobby Durkin, the Freshmen?

***Nebraska Game Thread***

We’re a little over a half hour away from kickoff in Lincoln between the Terps and Huskers.

Terps still a slight road favorite coming into this one, while they just need to figure out a way to get one more win to become bowl eligible.

Nothing too notable with regard to the injury report. Biggest news is probably that Pinter Colton Spangler is listed as questionable. Isaac Bunyun also questionable.

Terps will be in some clean lookin. All-white unis with white helmets.
