Hope Dem Os Loved Themselves Some History

BALTIMORE -- — Andrés Chaparro doubled three times in his big league debut, almost overshadowing another four-hit game by rookie James Wood as the Washington Nationals beat the Baltimore Orioles 9-3 on Tuesday night.

Chaparro became the fourth player in major league history with at least three doubles in his debut — the first since Nick Evans of the New York Mets hit three at Colorado on May 24, 2008.

Huh, 1/6 of the number of perfect games recorded.

Was the beer cold, hon?

I don’t know how many…

members are on this site, but to come on here roughly 24 hours from yesterday and see just two new threads is disappointing. Figured things would ramp up now that we’re in game week and there’s nothing.

I remember on the original site there’d be player interviews and extra stuff to read. Are you telling me that not even the players can be interviewed anymore either?
