TAMPA – Senior Shyanne Sellers of the Maryland women's basketball team will play in the Lilly’s Women’s College All Star Game Saturday, April 5 in Tampa.
The Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game will take place on Saturday at Hillsborough Community College-Dale Mabry campus in Tampa. The game will tip at 3 p.m. ET, while a collection of 30 players, including nearly all of the All-Star Game participants, will take part in the Lilly Women’s College All-Star Combine on Friday morning.

The 20 seniors, who will begin pursuit of their professional careers after this season, include Zaay Green (Alabama), Jewel Spear (Tennessee), Alyssa Utsby (North Carolina), Julia Ayrault (Michigan State), Diamond Johnson (Norfolk State) and Lucy Olsen (Iowa).
Players will appear on one of two teams – Team Lieberman and Team Miller – that will be coached by Naismith Basketball Hall of Famers Nancy Lieberman and Chery Miller, respectively.
Sellers earned Associated Press All-America Honorable Mention honors and was named a WBCA Coaches’ All-America finalist. She earned All-Big Ten First Team honors from the media for the third straight season earlier this month. She averaged 14.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game this past season for the Terrapins.
Sellers finished at No. 12 on Maryland's all-time scoring list with 1,676 career points. Sellers' 523career assists are No. 3 in the Maryland career record book. She is behind just Debbie Lytle (583) and Kristi Toliver (751). She is the first player in program history with 1,500 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists.
Sellers' career free throw percentage of 83% is No. 2 in Maryland history, behind just Kristi Toliver (86.6%).
Maryland earned its 16th top-four seed under Brenda Frese this season. The Terrapins went 25-8 in the year and advanced to their fourth Sweet Sixteen in five years and 12th under head coach Brenda Frese.
