Brenda Frese’s Take

“This game was a special one on a lot of fronts. First and foremost, being able to play and coach against Laura Harper. Just can’t say enough how proud I am of her, the program that she’s built here at Coppin. She’s just done a phenomenal job, which I’m not surprised one bit. Bringing Angel [Reese] back home to Baltimore in front of so many family and friends, thought she did a terrific job. The extra Christmas gift was having Diamond [Miller] back. Being able to see her passion and enthusiasm and energy. Thought she just did a heck of a job. Overall, as a team, 27 assists to eight turnovers – that’s how we want to play - the unselfishness we played with. Really, really excited to be able to go take a break now for Christmas and enjoy the holidays.”
