Sitting here watching LSU-Bama and Brandon Murray looks like the best player on the floor. On the other side, Darius Miles with a solid showing for Bama. Just thinking about how these were two local kids who would have killed to play for Maryland but never really got more than a cursory look.
These are the type of local kids Maryland needs to be monitoring throughout their careers and signing so they have some real depth and better roster construction. A Brandon Murray could have been the next Morsell and a Darius Myles would give you real depth on the wing.
Murray, though, is a perfect example of just how much depth and talent their is in the DMV. Late bloomer who is a physical freak and now starting in the SEC.
