Turgeon has been named to the U.S. coaching staff for this year's Pan American games.
The head coach for the team is Gonzaga's Mark Few. Colorado's Tad Boyle, a good friend of Mark's, is also on the staff.
Turgeon told me back at the last Pride Tour stop in Baltimore that Melo could be playing in the Pan Am games and given that he's now on the staff, I'd think that's a certainty. The games run from July 21-25 in Toronto.
