Good article. Next year's local class looks strong. I'm sure Sasho will make his mark on the locals for 2012.

Well, yes, it is a good article but the name of Mamadou Kansaye serves as a reminder that it is all about the $$$ and whether Maryland will have any out of 9.9 'ships to give. As usual, depends on how many graduate (Rodkey, Herrick, Cortes) and how much money they were getting, plus, anyone who goes pro early (Kassel?, Townsend? who the hell knows?). If many go, as happened two years ago when Omar Gonzalez, Rodney Wallace, and Jeremy Hall left early, then they have more money to give. Also have to wonder how many top-notch players are willing to come here for partial 'ship and then earn their way up and whether they are willing to stay long enough to do that. The calculus on this is not easy.

It will indeed be interesting to see how many guys do leave. Hate to see that but the flip side, locally it looks like one of the best years for talent in quite awhile with Harris, Robinson, and Gamble. Plus there's a couple of other kids on the DC United team that Sasho is watching closely. t.
