This isn't going to be a particularly long update, but it has some very relevant info that I wanted to get to you guys as soon as I can.

Possible addition to the offensive staff

- While I know we have already broken out quite a few names of possible football staff additions, most have been on the defensive side of the ball or off field altogether. Well we are now hearing a big name that could possibly join Locksley's staff on the offensive side of the ball. That name is former USC offensive coordinator Tee Martin. It was actually reported earlier today that Austin Peay was interested in hiring Martin as their head coach but he declined, choosing instead to pursue a job at a P5 school as either a coordinator or assistant.

We are hearing from sources that the two schools where Martin could most likely to end up as of now are either Maryland or Oregon. We are told that Martin has quite a few ties to Mario Cristobal's staff at Oregon, including Co-defensive coordinator Keith Heyward, who he coached with at USC under Steve Sarkisian and Clay Helton.

As for Martin's ties to Mike Locksley, the new Maryland head coach was the first to give Martin a shot coaching in the college ranks, hiring Martin as his quarterbacks coach at New Mexico in 2009. From there he spent time at Kentucky and most recently spent two-plus season as offensive coordinator at USC. With Tee Martin as offensive coordinator, USC's offense ranked in the top 20 in 2016 and 2017.

It is unclear exactly what his role would be on Maryland's staff, although it seems likely he would be brought in as offensive coordinator.

- One other possible offensive staff hire we have reported on multiple times now is current DeMatha head coach Elijah Brooks. We continue to hear that it is a near lock he will be a part of Locksley's staff and he would serve as the Terps' running backs coach. Brooks played RB at William & Mary.

Flip candidate on campus

- We reported on Friday that an unnamed flip candidate was expected on campus sometime last week, likely Thursday, to meet with Locksley. We can now break out the name of this flip candidate, current West Virginia commit Isaiah Hazel.

Although Hazel did not make it to campus last week as expected, according to sources, he is expected on campus Sunday afternoon. Hazel was offered by Locksley while at Alabama, but the class filled up at his position. Hazel is now one of Locksley's top priorities at Maryland and is very likely to flip from the Mountaineers to the Terps.

- There was one other highly-ranked flip candidate we have been expecting on campus, but we are yet to confirm he's made it out to College Park. When we do, we will let you know.

- Finally, while not really a flip candidate, former St. John's (D.C.) defensive tackle Cam Goode, who was committed to and briefly enrolled at Virginia Tech, listed a final two of Maryland and UCF last night on Twitter. The former three-star would add some nice depth along the Terps defensive line.
