A look at six portal newcomers who should make a major impact this season starting with Saturday's season opener versus Towson.

Have heard that Kaden Prather looks like the most NFL ready of a pretty loaded WR room.

It also seems a good bet that Tennessee transfer Jordan Phillips will be the Terps' best defensive lineman. (Again, hear he looks like the most NFL ready).

But this season could ultimately hinge on the play of guys like Gottlieb Ayedze and Mike Purcell (who I gave an honorable mention nod to and think will eventually be named the starting center tomorrow) as protecting Lia and opening holes for Hemby will be crucial for the offense's success. All the skill weapons in the world don't matter if you don't have time to get it to them.
