COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland football senior defensive back Sean Davis will participate in the 2016 Reese’s Senior Bowl, the bowl announced on Tuesday.
The game will take place on Jan. 30, 2016 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. It can be seen live on the NFL Network at 2:30 p.m.
Davis currently ranks second in the nation with five forced fumbles in just 10 games. He notched his 300th career tackle against Michigan State last week, becoming the first Terp to achieve the feat since Demetrius Harstfield in 2012. Davis also became the first Terp to reach 200 career solo tackles since D’Qwell Jackson(2005).Davis ranks third in the Big 10 with 5.4 solo tackles per game and he intercepted two passes against USF.
The Senior Bowl is the nation's most unique football game and football's premier senior showcase event. It annually features the country's best senior collegiate football players and top NFL draft prospects on teams representing the North and South that are coached by the entire coaching staffs of two NFL teams.
Davis and the Terps are set to host Indiana on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for noon and the game can be seen live on the Big Ten Network.
