Finally caught up with Rummel (La.) 2016 QB Chase Fourcade after his official visit to Maryland this past weekend. He wasn't about to tip his hand of whether or not he's going to flip from Nicholls State to the Terps, but he did have some flattering things to say about his time in College Park.
Fourcade seemed to really bond with the Terps coaching staff and the other recruits that were visiting last weekend and he even said that he felt like 'the man' while he was there. He still has one official visit planned this weekend to Louisiana-Monroe as well as a few in-home visits this week before he will make a final decision. However he did say he thinks that he'll be making an announcement before signing day.
My gut is that unless something at Louisiana-Monroe knocks his socks off or Ty Pigrome and Lindsey Scott Jr. both commit before he's ready to decide, Fourcade will most likely be a Terp. A full story is linked below.
