We caught up with 2017 St. Maria Goretti/Team Takeover guard Elijah Clarence in Hampton to get the latest on his recruitment. Although he's yet to pick up any offers, he's drawing some major interest, including the Terps.
Clarence is a lead guard that really likes to push tempo and can slash to the basket with the best of them. He seems like a smart kid who really understands what he needs to improve on to get better for the next level. I think he's definitely someone the staff will continue to monitor and see how he does next season, but he's got some major upside and the Terps have made an impression.
