The Terps have landed their 7th commit from the portal today, this time from former Washington State guard Isaiah Watts. This is a very interesting pickup due to the fact that he spent time in the backcourt with another recent Terps addition, Myles Rice, as a freshman, where they teamed up down the stretch for a Cougs squad that made the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney. While he was not a starter with Rice, he played starter minutes down the stretch alongside him with some impressive performances late in Pac12 play and in the Big Dance. I'd call Watts an average shooter, but he's without a doubt a plus perimeter defender, which as we all know is something Buzz covets. They are clearly still going after another wing shooter, and at this point I'm honestly not sure if this is a bench piece or a possible starter.
