Carmel (Ind.) three-star LB Noah Burks recently picked up a Terps offer and had some good things to say to a colleague that interviewed him right after he picked up the offer the other day. These quotes didn't make it into an article so I wanted to make sure to post them here for you all to see. Maryland appears to be in good shape right now, but I do want to note he's visiting Notre Dame on March 21. Burks talks Maryland in the quotes below.
"That's my No. 1 choice right now of the schools that have offered me.
"Honestly, I just love the area out there, being out there on the East Coast. I'm kind of in love in that area. I really like the football program and talking to their guys. My recruiting coordinator, Coach (Chad) Wilt, he's great and I love to him to and Coach (Randy) Edsall. I haven't visited there yet, but I'm really excited to.
"And them moving into the Big Ten was another big thing. I really like the Big Ten schools."
