I'm not going to name any names with a month plus still left to play, but I can now say that, per multiple sources, at least one player has already made the decision to enter the transfer portal at the conclusion of the season.
I still anticipate that there will be significant attrition when the season ends. The big question marks are still likely to be the status of Jahmir Young, Donta Scott and Hakim Hart. I still haven't heard anything that any of them are likely to come back. That said, I absolutely could see a scenario where NIL packages are put together to entice Young and maybe Hart to come back for a final COVID season.
But the Terps are likely to have two or three additional scholarships to work with after the season with several high profile locals looking to possibly return to the area.
