Carlin is in the Athletic Department now.
According to Wikipedia, since his CFL Career came to an end, Simon has been in the Front Office of various CFL teams, most recently interim GM of the Edmonton Eskimos after being the AGM since 2021.
He was passed over for the full GM role in Edmonton about two months ago which is probably why he's looking to come home.
Hopefully, he's going to be more than just a recruiting coordinator.
