I am at the Chicago Hilton for Big Ten Media Days and Maryland head coach Michael Locksley just wrapped up on the podium. He is the sixth head coach to the stage today, and came right after the human Red Bull, P.J. Fleck. Locksley, though, didn't cede anything to Fleck from an energy standpoint. He talked about Maryland being his dream job since he started talking and went into detail on the whys, including growing up and watching some of the past Terrapin greats. Listening to him speak, I am betting he will have Maryland fans revved up for the season in short order. He brings contagious energy to the party. I did smile when he thanked the media for telling such positive stories about his team. The honeymoon is apparently not over yet in College Park.
