Offensive Player of the Week

Connor Kelly, Maryland

Sr. – M – Easton, Conn. – Avon Old Farms

· Led Maryland to a pair of non-conference victories, totaling 13 points on eight goals and five assists

· Posted career-highs in points (8) and assists (4) against Marist, before scoring four more goals, including the game-winner, at High Point

· Earns his second career Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor and the first of the season

· Last Maryland Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week: Matt Rambo (April 18, 2017)



Defensive Player of the Week

Ryan Terefenko, Ohio State

So. – M – Sinking Spring, Pa. – Wilson

· Led the Ohio State defense that held Hofstra scoreless for 13:48 in the fourth quarter of Ohio State’s 9-7 victory over Hofstra

· Collected two ground balls, caused a turnover and scored a goal in the Buckeyes win

· Collects his first career Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week plaudit

· Last Ohio State Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week: Freddy Freibott (April 25, 2017)



Specialist of the Week

Gerard Arceri, Penn State

So. – FO – St. James, N.Y. – Smithtown East

· Won 20 of his 27 faceoffs in Penn State’s 15-8 victory against Stony Brook, with a career high .741 faceoff win percentage

· Grabbed a career-best 16 ground balls and tallied three points, with two goals and his first-career assist

· Earns his fourth career Big Ten Specialist of the Week honor and the first of the season

· Last Penn State Big Ten Specialist of the Week: Colby Kneese (April 4, 2017)



Freshman of the Week

Tommy Coyne, Rutgers

A – Naperville, Ill. – Naperville Central

· Scored his first three goals and added an assist for four points for Rutgers against then-No. 12 Army in his third-career game

· Recorded his first career hat trick in a span of 1:14 in the second quarter, which helped rally Rutgers on the road from a 5-1 deficit to a 5-5 tie at halftime

· Earns his first Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor
