Need to deliver some serious payback after last years debacle vs the Wildcats. Terps trailed 8-0 to start game, eventually falling behind by as many as 32 later in game. Terps managed just 12 made baskets the entire game (12-50, 24% fgs) Shot 15% in 1st half. Had scored only 27 points when 7 minutes were left in game (1st 33 minutes)
Nova this season:
-made season-high 18 3’s last game vs Penn
-have outrebounded their opponents in all 6 of their games. Average 11 more rebounds per game than opponents. But Terps also average 10 more rebounds per game than opponents this season. Nova outrebounded Terps 35-28 last year.
Should Queen keep shooting 3’s? Is that really a part of his game?
He is at least 0-for his last 10 on 3’s going back 2 seasons:
-0-7 this season
-0-3 in high school last year
-was 3-8 as high school junior
When will Miguel start playing like he did at USF? At least he is coming off season-high 15 points last game on 6-12 fgs. But…
-down 5 ppg so far (14.7 vs 9.8)
-down 14% 3’s (39% vs 25%)
-0 rebounds in 21 minutes last game
He is due to start playing better, certainly capable of more..but hasn’t looked comfortable yet to me
