PAC 12 but this crew (or at least the head ref for Mayo game) allowed an erroneous (skipped) down in game this season between Oregon and Washington State. On 1st down Washington State was called for intentional grounding, but down marker immediately changed to 2nd down, then penalty was assessed and then announced as 3rd down. Cougars ran for 1-yard on what really was 2nd and 18 and then punted. After a lengthy replay review initiated by the replay official the down was corrected, Washington State got the ball back for 3rd and 17, gained 4 yards on a run, and punted again - this time on the “real” 4th down. However, the game clock was not adjusted after the down was reset. This was from back in September so hopefully just a “one off”…
