If you have been following the news, Maurice's team, the Glasgow Rangers have gone into administration, meaning they are flat broke and now have sought bankruptcy protection due to their management being behind on taxes to the tune of $34 million. Typically this means that the club would have to start selling off assets in order to meet draconian financial requirements. Since Maurice is one of their best young players and hence among the most marketable, do not be surprised if he ends up somewhere else, albeit probably not before this season is out. Too bad for Rangers, which has such a long storied history in the Scottish league, but during a world wide recession, this sort of thing happens. I am not really worried about Maurice; anyone of that caliber will likely end up in an advantageous situation.
