Tough one to swallow for the Terps, who saw their season come to an end at the hands of a last second layup by LSU. After a slow start to the game, Maryland rebounded and took a couple of late leads in the second half. But a couple of clutch plays by the Tigers sealed Maryland's fate.

Game story with quotes is linked below, and I'll just add that this has been a fun (and at times frustrating) Terps team to cover this year. Really, really good group of guys who really loved playing with and for each other. Bruno is one of the best players I've ever covered at Maryland and watching Stix, Morsell, and Ayala come on late to help this team get its first postseason win in three years was something I can appreciate. I know people are frustrated now, but I hope some of the more level-headed folks will look back and say there were some really fun aspects to this season.
