ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Maryland men’s basketball team has earned the No. 5 seed in the 2019 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament and will play Thursday afternoon against the winner of Nebraska and Rutgers.
It marks the Terrapins’ fourth top-5 finish in the Big Ten in five seasons as members of the conference.

Maryland’s opening game against the winner of Nebraska and Rutgers will air on Big Ten Network 25 minutes after the first game of the day (about 3:00 pm ET).
The All-Big Ten awards for the 2018-19 season will be presented Monday, March 11, during a one-hour show on Big Ten Network beginning at 5 pm ET.
