Don't believe the hype. Too many times here we are told how good the coaching staf and players coming in are going to be, and usually we are disappointed (especially on the basketball side).
"Bell will only be here for a short time." Bell looks like he was hyped too much.
"Guys have been hitting the weight room." B.C's offensive and dline looked like bama against us.
Unless we are beating the bluebloods for players and coaches, time to take everything with a grain of salt.
Nothing standouts about Turgeon's coaching ability. Still too early to make an assessment of Durkin, but this performance is disappointing. Don't think I saw a game where I thought this team is well coached (except Purdue).
And if basketball doesn't make the tourney this year, and melo goes pro, we could be in trouble next year as well.
