Looks like Kentucky is voting to turn their athletic department into an LLC. This would allow them to earn revenue from real estate holdings or other business ventures. This revenue would be used as profit sharing as well as NIL. At least that is what it seems. They could hire an HR department and other personnel to run it as a business.
Anyone else doing this or hear of something similar? We don’t even have anyone running this department and other universities are moving away from the department?
