Per discussion on "The Sports Junkies" radio program, and quoted in the article for which I have provided the above link, the BOR-directed investigation has had difficulty finding clear evidence of wrongdoing by D.J. Durkin. In addition, to quote, "Apparently, even some of the kids are recanting what they said to reporters, and other kids are all supporting Durkin."
This gets, to quote "Alice in Wonderland", curiouser and curiouser. Trying, evidently, to identify sufficient wrongdoing to justify termination for cause, the BOR may find itself having to decide between retaining the Head Coach or paying the full amount of his buyout. This, of course, would be on top of any settlement with the AD and President, in the event they are removed, as well as a sizeable settlement with the McNair family.
