DeMatha 2016 five-star and Terps target Markelle Fultz picked up an offer earlier today from UNC. Despite already having offers from virtually every other high-major in the country, Fultz has told TSR in the past that he really wanted Duke, Kentucky and UNC offers, and now, he has added two of those in the same week.
I'm sure it's only a matter of time before Coach K comes calling too. But Duke's recruiting classes are already looking pretty stacked for the next 2-3 years and they may decide they don't need to push too hard for Fultz.
At this rate, it's going to be nearly impossible for the Terps to land Fultz, and although I think Kentucky is the favorite, it could come down to a close race between these three Blue Bloods.
But at the end of the day, blood is still actually Maryland red!
