Having just responded to a post mentioning him a few minutes ago, checked in and 2023 South Kent four-star center Papa Kante is set to officially visit Maryland early next week. This will be his second official visit, his first having been Rutgers early last month. Kante is another prospect that Willard was all over prior to arriving in College Park so he already has a very strong relationship with the kid. Maryland obviously needs an immediate impact big who can be a rim protector and Kante fits the bill. Other offers for Kante, who has been a double-double machine on the EYBL circuit this past month, include Kansas, Michigan, Seton Hall and more.
