Terps will host some big name football visitors this afternoon.
Biggest name is Good Counsel Rivals100 five-star DB Faheem Delane. He recently came out with a top 5 that did not include the Terps but expect Maryland to remain in the mix and perhaps shake that top group up now that AAR is on staff.
Also coming in is Friendship Collegiate four-star OL Bryce Jenkins. As I mentioned as soon as AAR was hired, he was a name to keep an eye on with the former Friendship coach back in College Park.
DeMatha four-star WR Emmanuel Dyson will be among the visitors. He has early offers from Maryland, Virginia Tech and Charlotte with Penn State also in the mix.
North Caroline ATH Zymear Smith will also be in attendance. Has a laundry list of big time offers that includes Georgia, PSU, Tennessee and Texas. BC and Maryland have been heavily in the mix as well.
Gonzaga three-star DB Devenchi Arnold. Again, a DC defensive back that the Terps have been high on that they were competing with BC and AAR for. His early offers are Maryland, BC and Virginia Tech.
McDonogh three-star WR Bandon Finney will be in attendance. Terps have obviously done very well at McDonogh over the years and he's a kid in high demand with offers from the likes of Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and WVU.
Dundalk DB Keith Barnes will be among the visitors. He has early offers from Maryland, BC and Charlotte. Obviously someone AAR has already targeted.
Calvert Hall 2026 stud ATH Chris Hewitt Jr. has a laundry list of offers already, including Maryland, BC, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Tennessee and Wisconsin. He's already been a fairly frequent visitor to College Park and the Terps will try to lock down this local stud early on.
