Football announces select game times for 2017 season

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Select game times and television designations for the 2017 Maryland football season have been announced by ESPN and FOX on Wednesday.

The Terps will open their 2017 campaign on September 2 at Texas in a game that will kickoff at noon EST and can be seen on FS1.

Maryland’s game at Ohio State on October 7 will either kick at 3:30 p.m. or 4 p.m. with television details to be announced at a later date.

The Terps will take on Northwestern for the first time in program history on October 14 when the squads meet at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium. A game time has not been announced, but either ESPN or ESPN2 will carry that contest.

Maryland will travel to Wisconsin on October 21 to take on the Badgers. That game will kick at noon EST.

The Terps will welcome Indiana for their homecoming contest on October 28 in a game that will kick at either 3:30 p.m. or 4 p.m.

More details on Maryland’s 2017 schedule will be released at a later date.

Saturday, Oct. 21: Maryland at Wisconsin, 12 pm ET/11 am CT, Network TBA

Saturday, Oct. 28: Indiana at Maryland, 3:30 pm ET/2:30 pm CT OR 4 pm ET/3 pm CT, Network TBA (Homecoming)
