Edsall starts by saying he appreciates all the fans that came out today given the weather.

Says the defense played hard and was physical and aggressive.

Says the offense can't keep turning the ball over and just need to do better.

Says the defense played well and did a good job of holding Michigan to field goals.

On third down, says they were trying to do the things they needed to do to stay out of third and long.

Says they will probably be making a change at quarterback but need to get together as a staff before making a decision.

Jefferson Ashiru hurt his ankle and he'll have surgery and he's out for the year.

Brett Zanotto hurt his ankle also and will be out for a while. And adds that Shaw is out for the season.

On not scoring more, says you just need to practice and do the things you need to do to get better. Says you build confidence by doing the little things and doing things right over and over again.

On not going for it on 4th down in the fourth quarter. Says you look at things and you see something or you don't and he didn't see anything.

On Ohio St next week, it's an opportunity. He looks forward to the challenge and games like next week are why you come to Maryland. Says it's great that they get to play these games and they just need to go out and compete.

On getting more conservative offensively. Says Michigan did some things different and that's why the offensive play calls changed.
