the completion or near completion of the Cole complex almost certainly will bring about change in FB leadership if performance remains the same or worse in '15 and likely '16. Being in probably the toughest Division 1 lineup in college FB demands attention by the Administration because the pond will drain in a hurry if FB remains mediocre. So
the question is
who becomes the next coach at UMD
an alumnus, a NFLer
who?
In closing, I think Edsall is a high character man who instills character in his players and seeks the same in kids he recruits that is admirable in today's money hungry Div 1 sports but it doesn't pay for the laundry. What is it, UMD Administration? is it mediocrity or is it revenue? That decision is upon you (and the Big donors). I think we all know the answer when it comes to today's major college sports programs.
