From Adam Friedman, five 2024 east coast QBs to watch including Highland Springs, Va. three-star signal caller Khristian Martin, who now appears to be Locksley's top target. This one is currently a three-team race, but with the Terps now making a major push after knowing for some time they would not get Van Buren, they have put themselves in a pretty good position.
New assistant Latrell Scott is the lead recruiter here as he was previously recruiting him at ECU. Locksley and Gattis also involved.
Martin was just on campus over the weekend for the Terps' 7-on-7 camp.
Personally, I like the upside here. Good size at 6-foot-2, 200-pounds and he moves pretty well in the pocket and has good awareness. I'm just not a huge fan of the short/small QBs, even knowing that is the trend right now.
