On the energy this week with it being the final game and bowl eligibility at stake, says there will be a special energy created by them having been through a lot of ups and downs and good and bad and they feel for each other and they will understand what's at stake and go out and play a great game.

On Perry's senior season, says it's hard to put into words what he's meant. Can't think of a better example of a guy who spilled everything into a place. He's tough natured, physically a tough guy. Says in many ways, our season will be reflected in his year. And he hopes he can go out and help his senior class and team as a whole go out with a win.

Perry day-to-day, says that he's happy with the way Bortenschlager played and showed some poise for his first Big Ten start. Max has put himself in a position where if Perry can't go, they feel he can move the offense and execute both the run and pass game with him in the lineup.

On Rutgers, says they're a group that's had some tough games but has also had some close games. They have some tough schemes with what they do. But it always comes down to, if you can execute and play with the energy level you need to, you are going to come out and have a chance to win and if you don't, you won't.

Says what is at stake is clear cut, they win they go to a bowl they don't they won't. But the motivation is always the same, being accountable and holding your teammates accountable and when you do that, that's when everything is good and at the end of the day, it's got to come from that.

Says it's tough to talk about Will Likely without getting emotional. He's a young man that's done the right thing and he's in there rehabbing every day and it's tough to see knowing he put so much into it and had it taken away temporarily. He'll be out there for senior day before the game and I love the guy.

Likely is a guy that gives advice and he's still in the building every day. He's spoken to the guy once or twice but he's a guy who leads by example.

Says they have been very honest and self aware of where they are as a program. As a coach, you go into every game thinking you are going to win. But we knew we didn't have a 12-win team, we knew that. But being bowl eligible is something we thought we could do. But 4 straight wins raised the bar some. There are so many positives since we've been here. Identifying who's staying, who's leaving, watching the film to see who we are. We've had great momentum going with recruiting and we've got a good core group of guys returning.

Can't dwell on the losing streak, every week is different, just like we didn't tell them go out and do what you did when we were winning, we didn't do that when we were losing. But it's a great time of year with Thanksgiving, a lot to be thankful for.

On Thanksgiving, says they have a meal with the team and then later with the family. But this is what we want, we want to be eating Thanksgiving dinner and thinking about winning Maryland football.

On Rutgers being a rival, if it happens, great, but you can't force a rivalry. It's not a rivalry until all of the students, fans, etc. all have animosity towards each other.
