Recruiting comments heard Thursday after attending practices last week at St Frances, DeMatha and North Point in Waldorf to see Anoma, Duncan, Fontaine, and Walker.

Eyabi Anoma was just bumped up, now #15 player overall in country in his rankings.
Said it was a tough call which defensive player to rank higher, Anoma or Micah Parsons. Anoma is playing in UA All-American game. Alabama has 4 coaches recruiting him including Saban, Locksley, DC Jeremy Pruitt and another coach who was a former national recruiter of the year. Anoma is going to Michigan for Ohio St game. Sees it as Bama and Michigan race, predicts Bama but Michigan legitimately in play. He likes their style of play on D.

Saw Jaelyn Duncan at practice and raved. Duncan is an incredible physical specimen and moves really well. It was a competition practice, highly competitive and he lined up against Anoma quite a bit so Duncan needs to go hard on every snap. He often got to the 2nd level where he "punished" 2019 star LB Shane Lee. Duncan is playing in the UA All-American game.

Talked with Coach Brooks at DeMatha and said Austin Fontaine is having a terrific season as a 2-way player for DeMatha and could maybe play OL at MD (had not heard that before)

Also went to North Point HS in Waldorf to see Rasheed Walker. Just more of the same, predicts PSU. Franklin came in one day, James had planned to helicopter in but weather prevented but still made it in by vehicle. Urban was in too, Ohio St very much in it - tight battle. MD and VT in the mix.

The indoor facility is the 2nd largest east of the Mississippi - only to the Buffalo Bills.
The new weight room expansion is going from 6,000 sq ft to 26,000 sq ft.
