The Terps have offered 2019 Bishop McNamara twins Makhi and Makhel Mitchell. They are both post players and Makhi is definitely the better of the two right now.
Had a chance to watch them both a couple of weekends ago and while I like their potential, both need to get stronger and more consistent.
Watched the Blue Devils 16Us play WER1's 16Us and honestly, the most impressive big on the floor by a lot was WER1's Eric Dixon. He's an undersized power forward, kind of in the mold of Notre Dame's Bonzi Colson, but he was sensational going head-to-head with Makhi. Had multiple blocked shots, ran the floor like a guard, hit a couple of threes and backed him down on both the left and right blocks only to turn around and knock down fade away jumpers. WER1 coaches told me Maryland has stayed in touch and he played really well last weekend in NYC.
