2017 five-star PG Trevon Duval is on campus for an unofficial visit today.
Duval joins a list of recent 5-star visitors that includes 2016 No. 1 Josh Jackson and 2017 5-star PF Billy Preston.
Duval competed in the Under Armour Elite 24 over the weekend in Brooklyn and according to Eric Bossi, could soon be the No. 1-ranked player in the 2017 class.
As I've been saying and we've been reporting for a while, the Terps are going to be major players for Duval. Based on our conversations, this very well could be another Maryland-Duke battle when it's all said and done. St. John's, Kentucky and a few others could be players as well.
Duval has been looking at transferring to a school further from home and last we spoke he told me he was considering Findlay Prep, Brewster Academy and Montverde. I've also heard some rumbling that they have explored him possibly going out to California to play at Balboa, the same high school that DeAndre Ayton attends.
