Michigan State beat Minnesota twice, so they would take the third seed if they beat us. It looks like Maryland's only chance for third is to win both games this week and have Minnesota lose to Wisconsin on the Badgers' senior day. If we tie with Minnesota, they have the tie-breaker by virtue of having beaten Purdue earlier. As of now, the top eight are

Purdue 12-4, 23-6
Wisconsin 11-5, 22-7
Michigan St. 10-6, 18-11
Minnesota 10-6, 22-7
Maryland 10-6, 22-7
Northwestern 9-7, 20-9
Michigan 9-7, 19-10
Iowa 8-8, 16-13

The tie for sixth and seventh will be broken when Michigan visits Northwestern on Wednesday.
The winner of that game could tie Maryland, but the Terps would have the edge, based on head-to-head play.

I think Maryland will either be 3 or 5.
