The early national signing day is here and you all can rest easy as Malik is already signed, sealed and delivered and will be enrolling next month.
I get that he will have quite a bit of pressure on him and expectations will be high, but I think he’s just like a Haskins or Caleb Williams and is built for this. Three straight MIAA titles, All-league in football and basketball. Really isn’t much he didn’t accomplish at the high school level.
Don’t really expect any fireworks today, that said, this is Mike Locksley we are talking about and you just never know.
Perhaps more importantly, not expecting any last minute defections which is a major positive.
As I’ve stated, the big thing now is to go hard in the portal and find some big-time talent along the offensive line, but today is a great start of building towards the future.
