On the first day that coaches could reach out to 2023 prospects in person, Maryand doled out a number of hoops offers. Here is a quick look at those that picked up offers yesterday.....

Jahnathan Lamothe - The Terps were one of two Big Ten schools to offer the local combo guard yesterday, along with Ohio State. The Baltimore product heard from a number of HM programs yesterday, including Georgetown, Penn State, Pitt, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. There is definitely mutual interest between the Baltimore product and Maryland. We'll see how they prioritize him now that he has an offer, but if they do make him a top target, they should have a very good shot here.

Amani Hansberry - One of several big-time big men at St. John's in DC., Hansberry is currently a four-star prospect and already has offers from the likes of Kansas and Texas A&M. At 6-foot-8, he's more of a traditional center but he has the ability to step outside and knock down jumpers all the way out to the three-point line.

Jacoi Hutchinson - Here we've got a top local that plays for DeMatha and Team Takeover. We'll see what sort of shot the Terps actually have here, but again, another big-time local talent. Next in a long line of big-time guards to come out of DeMatha. Combo guard that can create for himself and others as well as shoot it from deep.

Deshawn Harris-Smith - Local guard who attends PVI and runs with Team Takeover on the AAU circuit.

Matas Buzelis - A 6-foot-6 small forward out of Brewster Academy. Also has offers from Illinois, Kansas, Syracuse and Wake Forest. Runs with Full Package on the Under Armour circuit. At 6-foot-9 and just 16 years old, just scratching the surface of how good he can be. Think Jake Layman.

Baye Fall - One of a handful of five-stars the Terps offered yesterday, Fall is a 6-foot-10 center who has already picked up offers from the likes of Arizona, Baylor, Kansas, Georgetown and more.

Taylor Bol Bowen - Another big-time wing out of Brewster, Bol Bowen is 6-foot-7 with a ridiculous wing span. Marquette and USC also offered yesterday. Arkansas and Iowa among the others that have offered.
